January Fueled for Adventure Goes to the Classroom
This January Fueled for Adventure goes to the classroom. First grade students at Timberlawn Elementary School got the chance to select the recipes that will be featured each Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in January at the museum’s Red Rocket Café. Students chose the recipes and ingredients based on a letter of the alphabet. January recipes include healthy ingredients like cucumbers, blueberries, strawberries and apples.

- The letter C was chosen by first grader Emeri Hudson as the January 5 Fueled for Adventure recipe letter. We will be making Cucumber Snacks! Find the recipe here.
- Jatasia Donald selected the letter S for the January 12 Fueled for Adventure. On January 12 we will be make Strawberry Yogurt Graham Crackers. Strawberry recipe.
- Jamareon Reed chose the letter B for January 19. Jamareon’s favorite fruit is grapes and his favorite vegetable is sweet potato. Blueberries were chosen as this week’s ingredient. The blueberry snack recipe can be found here.
- The letter A was selected by Michael Watson to be the January 26 recipe letter. Michael’s favorite vegetable is corn. With the letter A we are making Apple Sandwiches with granola and peanut butter. You can find the Apple recipe here.
