Mississippi Heritage | Literacy | Health & Nutrition | The Arts | The World at Work Mississippi Heritage This is the Signature Exhibit in the Mississippi Children’s Museum. Mississippi Heritage features a state of Mississippi climbing map that will familiarize museum visitors with the wonderful diversity of Mississippi in its geography and natural science, in its culture and history, in its work and leisure life and it its connections to the broader world.
The map will create a physical environment based on the geophysical characteristics of Mississippi. There are large motor and small motor experiences that meet the developmental needs of children.
The exhibits in Mississippi Heritage will provide experiences evocative of Mississippi life and opportunities for changeable programming and interpretation.
