MS Hometown Heroes Essay Contest 2010
A Northwest Rankin Elementary fifth grade class was the first to enter the Mississippi Children’s Museum when we opened our doors in early December 2010. The class got this treat after classmate Chris Hart wrote the winning essay of the Hometown Heroes Essay Competition sponsored by AT&T and the AT&T Pioneers for the grand opening festivities of the Mississippi Children’s Museum.
After their visit to the museum the class was inspired! Teacher Angie Awad asked her class to write essays persuading others to come to the museum. Check out their wonderful essays!
